Julien Beaugnon has a 30+ year long career as an equestrian, instructor, trainer & manager. Whether performing individually or sharing his expertise with clients, his guiding principle rests on empathy and respect for those with whom he works, both human and equine.
Julien currently resides outside of Washington DC, with his wife and son. He continues to develop his techniques as a Classical Dressage Rider and leading expert in Liberty. Holding clinics across the nation. In additon offers his skills to address behavioral issues, nuanced advance-level private training for riders and training horses from the start.
Before relocating to the United States, Julien toured for over a decade as the solo liberty equestrian artist with the renowned Cavalia International Company. During his time he worked as the lead trainer in Liberty work within the company for over 7 years and stepped into the role of Equestrian Director as needed to lead the company through daily training and team management.
His journey into the equestrian world began in Paris, France growing up within a family of horse riders. From a young age, he embraced his natural passion for horses, immersing himself in the French riding system, competing in eventing and jumping, and earning impressive awards as a skilled Horse-Ball player winning the World Chamoionship.
Parallel to his equestrian acheivments, Julien earned a Business Degree in Management, Communication, and Accounting. Armed with a solid education, he embarked on a multifaceted career that seamlessly blends his love for horses and business.
